Remodeling

Remodeling is a word that creates excitement or invokes fear. We find that many enjoy the initial idea and the end result, but few enjoy the process in between. At Lynden Floor & Design, we enjoy every aspect of the remodel process.

Our remodeling division was born out of two factors. First, a desire to control difficult schedules which tended to complicate simple projects and frustrate customers, and secondly, a staff of people with remarkable abilities to create, construct, and build.

An example of how we began the remodel business would be a customer who requires new vinyl flooring in a master bath. When the sales person comes to do the initial consultation and measure the customer remarks that they need to find someone to install a larger tub, requiring demolition and framing work. They also want to add a short wall to hide the exposed toilet. To complete such a project requires a plumber, framer, sheet rocker, painter, and of course, the flooring installers. All of the sudden, this little job becomes quite an ordeal for the customer, finding the trades and being subject to all the different schedules. Clearly the solution is to have one person coordinate everything. At Lynden Floor & Design, we can provide this service while bringing quality and efficiency to the job.
